This is not a race – it’s a Ride & Train experience where you explore New Zealand’s beauty while upgrading your riding skills with Kevin.
Over these 10 days, you will cross the entire South Island, riding through its most iconic and impressive regions – rugged off-road terrain, river crossings, mountain passes, remote high-country stations, and cinematic landscapes around Queenstown, Wanaka, Mackenzie Country, and Fiordland.

Join us for an unforgettable 10-day motorcycle adventure through New Zealand’s stunning South Island. You’ll explore over 3,000 km of diverse terrain, from gravel trails and river crossings to mountain passes and hidden valleys.
This isn’t just a ride – it’s a complete experience. Starting in Queenstown, New Zealand, the route takes you along the rugged West Coast, through Marlborough’s wine region, and across the Southern Alps. Each day offers something different: new views, thrilling roads, and authentic local culture.

Queenstown → Franz Josef (350 km)
West Coast glaciers, rainforest, waterfalls. Intro to off-road. |

Franz Josef → Westport (350 km)
Paparoa National Park, remote beaches, winding coastal roads. Optional beach riding. |

Day 3
|
Westport → Hanmer Springs (300 km)
Forest tunnels, river crossings, 4×4 tracks. End the day in hot springs.

Day 4
|
Hanmer Springs → Blenheim (320 km)
Mountain passes, farmland tracks, Marlborough wine region.

Day 5 |
Blenheim → Christchurch (350 km)
Private farm roads, 200+ km inland routes, river valleys.

Day 6
|
Christchurch → Christchurch (150 km*)
Banks Peninsula & Akaroa. Some of NZ’s most scenic twisties. Optional adventure loops.

Day 7 |
Christchurch → Fairlie (250 km)
Southern Alps, alpine lakes, Mt Hutt. Mix of gravel and sealed roads.

Day 8 |
Fairlie → Omarama (300 km)
Lakes Tekapo & Pukaki, Mt Cook views. Optional off-road adventure loops.

Day 9 |
Omarama → Alexandra (300 km)
Rugged Otago terrain, up to 11 river fords. Overnight in Alexandra.

Day 10 |
Alexandra → Queenstown (280 km)
Nevis Valley + private alpine track. Epic finale overlooking Lake Wakatipu.

Riding Level
This is an intermediate+
You should be confident riding both sealed roads and gravel trails.
Off-road sections include river fords, mountain passes, and rugged terrain.
Optional harder loops for experienced riders (can be skipped).
Pace is adapted to group level with support and easier alternatives available.
